This piece is a great example of how my new micro jewelry welder allows me to do things working with fired vitreous enamel that would not be possible without it! For example the garnet that is set in the center of the enamel work surrounded by an 18k gold ring!

Also the blue topaz which is set in silver has been welded to the silver setting surrounding the finished enamel piece. Then the 18k gold shots and the silver twisted wire - all added through welding!
